Grand View is one of the very few breeding kennels in the country that submits their breeding dogs to DNA testing for PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy.), RD/OSD (Retinal Dysplasia/OculoSketetal Dysplasia), CNM (Labrador Centronuclear Myopathy), EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse) HNPK (Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis), DM (Degenerative Myelopathy) and SD (Skeletal Dysplasia 2). We unconditionally guarantee that our puppies will not be AFFECTED by any of the genetic disorders that we test for. Our goal is to produce healthy, genetically sound puppies while still preserving the breed's natural hunting abilities, instincts, trainability and temperament. We are proud to offer one of the best written guarantee in the country.

Labrador retriever's are loyal, highly intelligent and easily trained. They seek approval from their humans. They can be furiously protective especially of children. Some Labs are snugglers.
